In collaborazione con Società Dante Alighieri – LuxembourgPassaParola Magazine e con il sostegno dell’Ambasciata d’Italia di Lussemburgo

“Dante 700” has a metal structure, a characterizing element that recalls the fire of Dante’s Inferno, built with a “shell” of brass, covered with an external Black burnishing process and engraved on the surface with five sonnets by the great poet.
The chromatic effect is very strong: the manual engraving creates a contrast with the brass that stands out on the burnishing making the instrument innovative and original.

Patrizia D’Arrigo, professor of Italian Literature and doctorant in Italian study at Debrecen University, contributed to the choice of the verses, who valued Dante’s verses characterized by a marked musicality.

The strong and decisive sound allows a great sound projection. Dynamic and sensitive over the entire surface, it is rich in soft over tones.
Discover a unique instrument and the know-how of the drum builder, Massimo Savo of Essebi – Handmade Custom Drum.
During this event at the 1535 Creative Hub of Ville de Differdange, Massimo Savo proposes you to discover the universe of Dante Alighieri through the presentation of the instrument and the discovery of sonnets written by Dante Alighieri and read by Manuela Rufolo. These sonnets served as inspiration for Massimo Savo when he created the snare drum. These passages will be accompanied by a musical performance on the “Dante 700” snare drum by drummer Jeff Herr.
